THE PROCESS

  1. The parent calls BabyNet at 1-866-512-8881 and requests EI services for the child. You can visit the South Carolina Babynet website to fill out via online, too!  

  2. BabyNet Office will complete screening in person or over the phone. If a child is eligible, the parent is offered a choice of providers.

    *If the family selects Vantage Early Intervention, then, BabyNet will provide us the intake referral.*
     

  3. Vantage Early Intervention will complete a developmental assessment to gain in-depth strengths and weaknesses about your child.
     

  4. Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) will be constructed with family and Early Interventionist. Additional services involving paraprofessionals will be addressed, if applicable.
     

  5. At 2.5 years of age, Vantage Early Intervention collaborates with local school districts for a transition to education. Also, with DDSN for extended services if it is warranted
